"When we first took the plunge and put pen to paper and finally owned our dream lodge in the Lakes, we started to think about how we could initially make enough money to cover the site fees and the up keep of the lodge, leaving plenty of time for ourselves and family to enjoy it.

About us

Lake District Lodge Holidays was set up in October 2009 by Mark Holdcroft with the help of his wife Paula. This followed 3 successful years of owning and letting our own Waterside Lodge at Limefitt Park whilst using it regularly to enjoy the stunning area around Windermere & Ambleside and the Troutbeck Valley.

Waterside Lodge was so popular that we were regularly fully booked all year round (and still are!) so not wanting to turn away guests we asked other owners if they would like us to pass potential bookings to them. From there it was clear many owners were either struggling to get bookings or manage them efficiently and professionally and the idea was born.

Now, mainly by word of mouth and reputation we are growing our portfolio as more and more owners realise the benefits of using us a specialist Holiday Lodge letting agent. And because we know everything there is to know about lodges and specialise in letting them and them alone, owners can now enjoy their lodges without worrying about everything that goes into letting them out.
