Autumn in the Lake District
Autumn in the Lakes is a wonderful time of year. For many of us, this season of mists and mellowness is the very best time to visit. It’s a quieter time, the schools have gone back and everything feels, well, more relaxed. We often get some of our best weather in the autumn too, and the leaves changing colour, along with the sunsets is a sight to behold. Of course, there’s Hallowe’en, Bonfire Night and half term for families to enjoy, with lots of local festivals and activities tied in with this busier week. Come and kick some leaves!
