I always visited the Lakes growing up with my Grandma having been born in Ambleside, it was always a home away from home.<\/p>\n<h4 data-olk-copy-source=\"MessageBody\">Favourite Lake District Walk<\/h4>\n<p>There&#8217;s so many that I&#8217;ve done over the years, however, there&#8217;s nothing quite like completing Scafell Pile- it is a challenge but so rewarding<\/p>\n<div>\n<h4>Go-to spot for food and drink in the Lakes<\/h4>\n<p>Definitely Doi Inthanon in Ambleside, the Thai food here is delicious. Also, The Highwayman in Kirkby Lonsdale &#8211; simply some of the best food I&#8217;ve ever had!<\/p>\n<h4>Favourite things about living and working in the Lake District<\/h4>\n<p>Springtime here is my favourite, it is such a beautiful season. Watching the lakes wake up from winter is fantastic to see.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3>Matthew Raynor &#8211; Account Manager<\/h3>\n<h4>About You<\/h4>\n<p><span data-teams=\"true\">I was actually born in west Yorkshire but I took a downgrade (just kidding) and moved to Cumbria in the early 90&#8217;s. I have lived here since then and love life over the border in the Lakes.
