Well done to to our Coniston to Barrow team!<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Congratulations to Lake District Lodge Holidays<\/a> and Lakelovers<\/a> t<\/span>eam – Romany, Ellie, Jo and Gaynor, who walked an impressive 22 miles on Saturday 11th May all the way from Coniston to Barrow in Furness, to raise money for 3 chosen charities.<\/p>\n

We like to do a team challenge every year and this year the ladies decided to get the walking boots out and join thousands of others who take part in this popular walking challenge, which is now in its 57th year. Although it was a hot day, thankfully everyone made it to the finish line, despite the sore feet and blisters it was worth the \u00a3541 that the team raised.<\/p>\n

This will now be evenly split between the three chosen charities below;<\/p>\n

Lake District Search and Mountain Rescue Association<\/a><\/div>\n
Ronald McDonald House Charity<\/a><\/div>\n

We are pleased to announce as the Lake District Search and Mountain Rescue Association is the Lakes official charity partner for 2024, our sister company Sykes Holiday Cottages will double the amount raised, which means we raised \u00a3360 for LDSAMRA from the Coniston to Barrow walk alone.<\/div>\n

Total raised \u00a3720!<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
