You’ll find the 2 Sisters next to the Plumgarths Farm Shop, just at the bottom of the A591 bypass outside Kendal, as you head towards Windermere. It’s also right next door to Lakeland Radio – which you can hear in the background as you are enjoying your food!\u00a0 The one in the town centre is right on the High Street, next to Westmorland Shopping Centre.<\/p>\n
The 2 Sisters love cooking, baking and inventing new recipes, with lots of scrumptious treats available, and great coffee.\u00a0 Its a lovely, modern space with tables and sofas to sit on.\u00a0 They are also right next to Plumgarth’s Farm Shop where you can pick up some of Plumgarth’s fabulous local produce – with a proper butchery counter, serving\u00a0 meat; sausages, cheeses, pickles and jams, or bakery selections.<\/p>\n

The staff here are fantastic! The afternoon tea comes to about \u00a39.50, and for that you get tea or coffee, a selection of sandwiches, a huge scone with jam\/clotted cream and finally your choice of cake – portions are all very generous’<\/p>\n Hints\/Tips<\/strong> \u2013 you can just turn up but it does get busy in school holidays and peak times.
