Cruising along the 8 mile stretch of Ullswater provides spectacular scenery including some of the Lake District\u2019s most iconic fells such as Helvellyn and Striding Edge,\u00a0 St Sunday Crag and Place Fell. Lower level there are classic walks along the shore, and you can potter around the villages of Pooley Bridge, Glenridding and Patterdale.\u00a0 \u00a0There are many walks around Ullswater, including Aira Force and take in part of the the newly-opened Ullswater way – a great place to spend a few happy hours here, exploring and drinking in the beautiful views.\u00a0 Then afterwards there are plenty of great places to have a proper drink – tea or beer!<\/p>\n
On-board facilities include a licensed bar including tea, coffee and light refreshments, and loos.\u00a0 There’s an open deck area if you’re fancying a bracing journey, and lower covered seating for those wet days. You can pick up connections between Glenridding, Howton, Pooley Bridge, and connections also available between Glenridding and Aira Force. Dogs are welcome for a small fee.<\/p>\n
