“Lovely lodge and a great stay.”

A couple of small things to sort... the knives are really blunt and impossible to cut anything with; could do with a sieve in the kitchen, the colander isn't great for rice! The sofas seem a bit tired and not that comfortable. Everything else was spot on.

Thank you for your feedback. We are very pleased you enjoyed your stay at daffodils. Many thanks for letting us know about the sieve and the blunt knives. We will put a sieve in the lodge and sharpen or replace the knives as soon as we can. We hope to welcome you back some time in the future. Kind Regards- Jan and Les Property Owner

There are wooded walkways, a beer garden, a picnic area, and a children's play area. Drive up to Windermere village, which is two miles away, or Ambleside, a thriving market town, which is four miles distant, for more exploration. Troutbeck Village, located at the base of the Kirkstone Pass, which makes its way up over the high fells and then down to Ullswater, is only four miles away.
