    “We have stayed on Whitecross in a lodge before.”

    This lodge is really comfortable with very high quality. Shame there is no hot tub but having said this we would stay again. Congratulations to the owners really enjoyable stay

New owners, new look! Welcome to Tall Trees, a spacious 2 bedroom lodge Tall Trees is a modern and spacious lodge situated in the Keswick Court area of White Cross Bay. Set amongst the tall pine trees in the centre of the park, it's just a short walk to the clubhouse and facilities. Windermere lake is easily accessible some 600 yards away. With a spacious deck on which to relax after a day sightseeing or hiking, the lodge offers a stylish and comfortable space. A pretty and popular lodge that has been beautifully decorated by the new owners providing a welcoming retreat for guests. Sorry we are unable to accept pets at Tall Trees Lodge. Accommodation Details Living area: - Spacious and bright open plan lounge, dining and kitchen area - Corner sofa - Feature slate fire place with electric fire - Glass dining table with 4 chairs - Wall mounted TV Kitchen: - Fully equipped fitted kitchen with gas hob and electric oven, integrated fridge, freezer and dishwasher, microwave, toaster and kettle - Island breakfast bar with stools - Plenty of pots, pans, cutlery and crockery plus storage space Master bedroom: - Carpeted master with double bed - Bedside cabinets - Wall mounted TV - Dressing area with wardrobe, drawers and cabinets - Master en-suite with walk-in shower, hand basin and toilet Second bedroom: - Carpeted second bedroom with twin beds - Bedside cabinets Family bathroom: - Over bath shower and screen, hand basin, toilet and heated towel rail Other information: - Centrally heated ensuring a comfortable stay all year round

About the location

WINDERMERE

Ambleside 5 miles; Kendal 8.7 miles.

The twin towns of Bowness and Windermere are both vibrant, fun-filled places set within the splendid scenery of the Lake District. Both towns provide a range of amenities, shops and restaurants to suit all tastes whilst Ambleside offers the additional attraction of a boat ride to Bowness, the Lakeside Aquarium and Beatrix Potter's 'Hill Top House' at Sawrey. Grizedale Forest Park is within easy driving distance and is home to a range of activities including many good walks, mountain biking and the 'Go Ape' adventure park. The region also boasts many National Trust properties as well as a variety of water sports for those who prefer a more adrenaline-fuelled trip. Children will enjoy a trip to the 'World of Beatrix Potter' in Bowness whilst the villages of Grasmere, Coniston Water, Kendal, Keswick and the Lakeland Mountains are all within easy reach.

Tall Trees is accessed by 5 steps. The lodge is then all on the same ground floor level. A travel cot will fit in the double and twin bedroom. White Cross Bay has its own onsite leisure facilities. You will need to purchase a leisure pass from reception which is currently £15 per lodge. This covers everyone staying in the lodge for the duration of your stay. Subject to White Cross Bay Holiday Park rules: Commercial vehicles, caravans or camper vans cannot be parked on the site. Hen or stag parties are not permitted. There is a Good Housekeeping Bond of £100 for this property.
