Herdwick Cabin is a magnificent single-story cabin located on the lovely White Cross Bay Holiday Park in the Windermere area. Herdwick Cabin is a beautifully fitted home that welcomes families and groups of friends searching for a lovely location in the Lakelands. After a long day of exploration, relax in the open-plan living area, which features a wide corner sofa at one end, as well as a gas fireplace and a Smart TV. Before setting the dining table for a beautiful feast, keep the appointed chef company as they become familiar with the kitchen, which has a large gas oven and range, microwave, and fridge/freezer. To get some rest, head to the bedrooms, which include a double and two twins with 2ft 6' single beds, perfect for the kids. Begin your day in the shower room before relaxing on the patio furniture and taking in the peaceful surroundings. Take a dip in the pool, work up a sweat in the sauna, or try your hand at a variety of games on the multi-sports court before dining at the on-site restaurant! Explore the shops, cafés, and pubs in Windermere village, while farther away in Bowness, you'll find award-winning restaurants and bars as well as unique stores and eateries. Visit the National Trust's Wray Castle or Hill Top, Beatrix Potter's quaint home, to learn more about Lake Windermere, or climb to the top of Claife Heights for panoramic views of the lake. Discover the wonderful Grizedale Forest, which offers a variety of walking and cycling trails suitable for the whole family. Herdwick Cabin offers a wealth of amenities and attractions from the doorstep.

WINDERMERE

Ambleside 5 miles; Kendal 8.7 miles.

The twin towns of Bowness and Windermere are both vibrant, fun-filled places set within the splendid scenery of the Lake District. Both towns provide a range of amenities, shops and restaurants to suit all tastes whilst Ambleside offers the additional attraction of a boat ride to Bowness, the Lakeside Aquarium and Beatrix Potter's 'Hill Top House' at Sawrey. Grizedale Forest Park is within easy driving distance and is home to a range of activities including many good walks, mountain biking and the 'Go Ape' adventure park. The region also boasts many National Trust properties as well as a variety of water sports for those who prefer a more adrenaline-fuelled trip. Children will enjoy a trip to the 'World of Beatrix Potter' in Bowness whilst the villages of Grasmere, Coniston Water, Kendal, Keswick and the Lakeland Mountains are all within easy reach.

Herdwick Cabin is accessed by 4 steps and then the property is on one level.

White Cross Bay has its own onsite facilities. You will need to purchase a complex pass from reception which includes the use of the pool, entertainment and access to bar and restaurant. The prices are subject to change by park management.
