    “Lovely lodge but best for only 2 people.”

    Great views and super hot tub.unfortunately our trip was cut short due to lakes going into tier 4 so didn't have full experience.

The property

Welcome to High View, a two bedroom holiday lodge with hot tub and lake view High View is a beautifully presented 2 bedroom lodge at White Cross Bay. It is located in the Pony Meadow area of the park and enjoys fabulous views towards the lake and mountains. Despite being compact, it has everything you might need for a comfortable stay. With two double beds, one with en suite toilet, this lodge is perfect for couples. Sorry we are unable to accept dogs at High View Lodge. Accommodation Details Living area: - Entrance to the side of lodge into the hallway with a large mirror fronted radiator - Open plan lounge, dining and kitchen area - 3 seater cream leather sofa and chair plus small glass dining table - Wall mounted TV/DVD player - Feature electric fire Kitchen area: - Fitted kitchen with range of light oak units and breakfast bar - The kitchen is fully equipped and includes a gas hob and electric oven, integrated full size fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle and toaster, ample cutlery and crockery plus storage space Master bedroom: - Double bed - There is a range of fitted light oak cupboards and wardrobe - Wall mounted TV/DVD - Patio doors open onto the deck - En suite toilet with hand basin and mirror Second bedroom: - Smaller double bedroom also has a range of fitted light oak cupboards and wardrobe Shower room: - The shower room includes a shower cubicle with thermostatic shower, hand basin and toilet Other information: - High View has its own dedicated WiFi. This should be suitable for streaming services allowing you to log into your Amazon Prime, Now TV or Netflix accounts - Centrally heated throughout ensuring a comfortable stay all year round

Ambleside 5 miles; Kendal 8.7 miles.

The twin towns of Bowness and Windermere are both vibrant, fun-filled places set within the splendid scenery of the Lake District. Both towns provide a range of amenities, shops and restaurants to suit all tastes whilst Ambleside offers the additional attraction of a boat ride to Bowness, the Lakeside Aquarium and Beatrix Potter's 'Hill Top House' at Sawrey. Grizedale Forest Park is within easy driving distance and is home to a range of activities including many good walks, mountain biking and the 'Go Ape' adventure park. The region also boasts many National Trust properties as well as a variety of water sports for those who prefer a more adrenaline-fuelled trip. Children will enjoy a trip to the 'World of Beatrix Potter' in Bowness whilst the villages of Grasmere, Coniston Water, Kendal, Keswick and the Lakeland Mountains are all within easy reach.

High View is accessed by 4 steps. The lodge is then all on the same ground floor level.

There is insufficient space to fit a travel cot in any of the bedrooms and would have to be placed in the living room area. Please bring your own travel cot and highchair.

White Cross Bay has its own onsite facilities. You will need to purchase a complex pass from reception which includes the use of the pool, gym, entertainment and access to bar and restaurant. The prices are subject to change by park management.

Subject to White Cross Bay Holiday Park rules:
Commercial vehicles, caravans or camper vans cannot be parked on the site.
Hen or stag parties are not permitted.

There is a Good Housekeeping Bond of £100 for this property.
