    “Stunning week in White Cross Bay and one of the best lodges we have stayed in.”

    Location is 5 star and we spent even in October several afternoons sitting with a glass of wine over looking Windermere.

Welcome to Marina View, a beautiful three bedroom holiday lodge with lake views Marina View offers modern and stylish accommodation in the heart of the Lake District. It enjoys a sought after quiet and private lake front location at White Cross Bay. The lodge is beautifully furnished and the owners have spared no expense to make it a wonderful holiday home and welcoming place to stay. Marina View will sleep up to 6 guests plus an infant in a travel cot. With stunning views across Windermere and the mountains beyond, it's an ideal base from which to explore this stunning national park. Imagine waking up and looking out across the lake with your morning coffee... Sorry we are unable to accept dogs at Marina View Lodge. Please note the following: Regrettably this lodge does not accept single sex groups or groups of adults under 25 years old. Only 7 night stays available arriving on either a Friday or Saturday between the months of June and September. Although this lodge does not accept dogs, the owner takes their own family dog when staying. Ambleside 5 miles; Kendal 8.7 miles.

The twin towns of Bowness and Windermere are both vibrant, fun-filled places set within the splendid scenery of the Lake District. Both towns provide a range of amenities, shops and restaurants to suit all tastes whilst Ambleside offers the additional attraction of a boat ride to Bowness, the Lakeside Aquarium and Beatrix Potter's 'Hill Top House' at Sawrey. Grizedale Forest Park is within easy driving distance and is home to a range of activities including many good walks, mountain biking and the 'Go Ape' adventure park. The region also boasts many National Trust properties as well as a variety of water sports for those who prefer a more adrenaline-fuelled trip. Children will enjoy a trip to the 'World of Beatrix Potter' in Bowness whilst the villages of Grasmere, Coniston Water, Kendal, Keswick and the Lakeland Mountains are all within easy reach.

Marina View is accessed by 6 steps. The lodge is then all on the same ground floor level.

A travel cot and highchair are provided within the lodge. They are kept in the master bedroom wardrobes.

We are unable to accept single sex groups or groups of adults under 25 years old within Marina View Lodge.

Although Marina View Lodge does not accept dogs, the lodge owners do occasionally take their own dog when staying.

White Cross Bay has its own onsite facilities. You will need to purchase a complex pass from reception which includes the use of the pool, gym, entertainment and access to bar and restaurant. The prices are subject to change by park management.

Subject to White Cross Bay Holiday Park rules:
Commercial vehicles, caravans or camper vans cannot be parked on the site.
Hen or stag parties are not permitted.

There is a Good Housekeeping Bond of £100 for this property.
