    “The lodge is fantastic in most aspects but the sofa is very uncomfortable ant the WiFi is nonexistent, couldn’t connect to the site WiFi at all, there should have their own lodge WiFi in one of the best locations on site.”

Welcome to Stickle Ghyll, a two bedroom lodge with a hot tub and lake view Wow - what a view! Stickle Ghyll is a contemporary two bedroom holiday lodge in a sought after position at White Cross Bay. The lodge is just a few yards from the lake offering fabulous views of the marina and mountains beyond. Whether sitting in the lounge, enjoying the sunshine out on the spacious deck or simply relaxing in the hot tub, the views will make your stay even more special. Sorry we are unable to accept dogs at Stickle Ghyll Lodge. Accommodation Details Living area: - Cosy open plan lounge, dining and kitchen area - Furniture includes a 2 seater sofa and 2 armchairs plus coffee table - Feature electric fire - Wall unit with flat screen TV and DVD player - Dining table with 4 chairs Kitchen area: - The kitchen is semi-divided from the living area by a breakfast bar - Fitted kitchen with gas hob, built in double oven and microwave, dishwasher, large American style fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster, ample cutlery and crockery plus plenty of generous storage space - Breakfast bar with stools and wine cooler Master bedroom: - King size bed - Fitted wardrobes, bedside drawers, small dressing table, mirror and stool - En suite shower room with thermostatic shower, toilet, hand basin and vanity unit Second bedroom: - Narrow twin beds (2 foot 6 wide) - Fitted wardrobe and cupboards Family shower room: - Family shower room with walk in shower, hand basin and vanity unit, toilet and shaving point Other information: - Full central heating and double glazing ensuring a comfortable stay all year round

About the location

WINDERMERE

Ambleside 5 miles; Kendal 8.7 miles.

The twin towns of Bowness and Windermere are both vibrant, fun-filled places set within the splendid scenery of the Lake District. Both towns provide a range of amenities, shops and restaurants to suit all tastes whilst Ambleside offers the additional attraction of a boat ride to Bowness, the Lakeside Aquarium and Beatrix Potter's 'Hill Top House' at Sawrey. Grizedale Forest Park is within easy driving distance and is home to a range of activities including many good walks, mountain biking and the 'Go Ape' adventure park. The region also boasts many National Trust properties as well as a variety of water sports for those who prefer a more adrenaline-fuelled trip. Children will enjoy a trip to the 'World of Beatrix Potter' in Bowness whilst the villages of Grasmere, Coniston Water, Kendal, Keswick and the Lakeland Mountains are all within easy reach.

Stickle Ghyll is accessed by 4 wooden steps. The lodge is then all on the same ground floor level.

There is insufficient space to fit a travel cot in any of the bedrooms and would have to be placed in the living room area. Please bring your own travel cot and highchair as they are not provided.

White Cross Bay has its own onsite facilities. You will need to purchase a complex pass from reception which includes the use of the pool, gym, entertainment and access to bar and restaurant. The prices are subject to change by park management.

Commercial vehicles, caravans or camper vans cannot be parked on the site.
Hen or stag parties are not permitted.
