Welcome to Woodland Nook, a two bedroom modern holiday lodge Woodland Nook is a tastefully furnished, modern and comfortable holiday lodge located in the Grasmere area of White Cross Bay. The lodge enjoys being situated at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac. It's a short distance to the clubhouse and facilities. Woodland Nook is ideal for families or couples sleeping up to 4 guests. A popular lodge in an excellent location for a relaxing and peaceful break in the Lakes. The lodge welcomes 2 dogs. Accommodation Details Living area: - Spacious open plan living, dining and kitchen area - 2 and 3 seater leather sofas - Feature fire surround with electric fire - Wall mounted TV and DVD player - Dining table with 4 chairs Kitchen area: - Fully equipped fitted kitchen with gas hob and oven, fridge, freezer, microwave oven, kettle and toaster, ample cutlery and crockery plus plenty of generous storage space Master bedroom: - Double bed - Fitted wardrobe, cupboards and drawers - En suite shower room with corner shower, toilet and hand basin Second bedroom: - Twin beds - Fitted wardrobe, cupboards and drawers Family bathroom: - Bath with over bath shower and screen, vanity unit and hand basin plus toilet Other information: - Woodland Nook has its own dedicated WiFi. WINDERMERE

Ambleside 5 miles; Kendal 8.7 miles.

The twin towns of Bowness and Windermere are both vibrant, fun-filled places set within the splendid scenery of the Lake District. Both towns provide a range of amenities, shops and restaurants to suit all tastes whilst Ambleside offers the additional attraction of a boat ride to Bowness, the Lakeside Aquarium and Beatrix Potter's 'Hill Top House' at Sawrey. Grizedale Forest Park is within easy driving distance and is home to a range of activities including many good walks, mountain biking and the 'Go Ape' adventure park. The region also boasts many National Trust properties as well as a variety of water sports for those who prefer a more adrenaline-fuelled trip. Children will enjoy a trip to the 'World of Beatrix Potter' in Bowness whilst the villages of Grasmere, Coniston Water, Kendal, Keswick and the Lakeland Mountains are all within easy reach.

Woodland Nook is accessed by 5 steps. The lodge is then all on the same ground floor level.

A travel cot and highchair are provided in the lodge. A travel cot will fit in the master bedroom only.

White Cross Bay has its own onsite leisure facilities. You will need to purchase a leisure pass from reception which is currently £15 per lodge. This covers everyone staying in the lodge for the duration of your stay.

Subject to White Cross Bay Holiday Park rules:
Commercial vehicles, caravans or camper vans cannot be parked on the site.
Hen or stag parties are not permitted.
Dogs must not be left alone in the lodges at any point during your stay.

There is a Good Housekeeping Bond of £100 for this property.
