The lodge was perfect, worth the money we paid and would come back to stay in the future. Only thing was the sofa needed a clean as it smelt of wet dog. Gemma Millman, Settle

REVIEW OF MID WEEK STAY
Saturday 20 May 2017
The accommodation is in a prime location and well sited. However, the main issue was with cleanliness. The dishwasher was stacked but not run, there were cigarette stubs in the kitchen bin (which left a smell throughout) and hot tub and the outside patio area appeared to have never been cleaned. We did a clean through and reported the faulty toilet seat and bathroom handle, so these by now should be fixed. Overall a pleasant stay. I would recommend if cleaned through properly before arrival. Perfect stay in relaxing location
Friday 5 May 2017
We had a fabulous stay at the lodge. The location of the site was perfect for us, close enough to drive out and go exploring but far enough away from the busy streets of Windermere to fully relax. Our plans involved a lot of walking, which we planned in advance. Brant Fell is well worth a walk up for lovely views of lake Windermere. The hot tub was great to relax in on an evening, the only downside is it isn't sunken as detailed in the description of the lodge. However the park was quiet enough we didn't get disturbed when in the hot tub from people walking past. Claire Clark, Sunderland
About White Cross Bay
White Cross Bay is located between Windermere & Ambleside on the shores of Lake Windermere. It is one of the most popular holiday parks in the very heart of the Lake District and the great location makes it a convenient base for a self catering stay in the area.
The focal point is the lake front and marina with stunning views across to the surrounding fells and countryside. The park offers plenty to do with a large clubhouse which includes the bar, restaurant and leisure facilities (a £15 local charge applies to use the pool and gym).
