Beautiful lodge in a great location between Ambleside and Windermere right on the bus route or a taxi was fairly cheap too. Excellent and well maintained although new plastic cups would be good. Hot tub was brilliant and ade the stay even better! Overall a lovely stay and lovely lodge. Jasmin Kennedy, Egremont

The lodge was of a good standard and was situated in a pleasant, more private position in the park. We found the location of the park great for getting out and about to different places in the Lake District and would definitely visit there again. Andy Parsons, Great Edstone

Woodland Beck was spotlessly clean on our arrival. It had well stocked cupboards, with pots, pans, glasses etc. It was in a great location close to the entertainment centre. We loved the hot tub!!! I would recommend Woodland Beck and Lake District Lodge Holidays. Nicola Shepherd, Runcorn

We thoroughly enjoyed our family holiday at Woodland Beck. We were really pleased with its location, attention to detail, cleanliness and facilities, it made the process of travelling with a small child so much easier. It also included lots of special touches that made it feel so homely. There was a lot of information provided about the local area which was really useful as was the lodge and park information packs. Family games and DVD's was an unexpected surprise and a good distraction on the rainy days! We absolutely recommend Woodland Beck and are preset looking at going again next year Joanna White, Cambridge

About White Cross Bay

White Cross Bay is located between Windermere & Ambleside on the shores of Lake Windermere. It is one of the most popular holiday parks in the very heart of the Lake District and the great location makes it a convenient base for a self catering stay in the area.

The focal point is the lake front and marina with stunning views across to the surrounding fells and countryside. The park offers plenty to do with a large clubhouse which includes the bar, restaurant and leisure facilities (a £15 local charge applies to use the pool and gym).
