Perfect break

Esk Pike is absolutely lovely. It's cosy and comfortable and the hot tub is great and set back by the trees. The lodge has everything we need and is in a fantastic position on the site. Staff at Whitecross Bay are very friendly and helpful too.

Nice lodge, bed could have been more comfortable. Location lovely. Could have been cleaner. One wall heater was broken but we were provided with an electic plug in heater. There is no table in the lodge which we weren't aware of & my husband struggles the eat on his lap, there are lap trays to use, these were dirty when i got them out. Hot tub was obviously a hit especially with our daughters. Entertainment passes are an extra £15. We bought these when we arrived however we were never asked to show them and if you want to swim you have to book your slot well in advance. We only managed to book one slot for the whole of the week we were there, and that was on our last night.

Thank you for your review, Gaynor. We were sorry to hear a few were not quite right for you. We shall ask the lodge owners to look into your comments and also speak to the housekeeper to remind them of their responsibilities. Thank you for raising these points with us and we apologise for any inconvenience caused. Your further comments relating to the onsite facilities have been passed to the park management for their reference. Should you choose to return perhaps worth trying Choices Health Club, a superb complex and complimentary to all our guests, definitely worth bearing in mind? Despite a few niggles we do hope you enjoyed your stay. Esk Pike is a great place for a relaxing holiday in the Lakes.

Anniversary stay

Booked for my husbands anniversary present, we weren't disappointed. This lodge was absolutely perfect. Clean on arrival, warm and cosy. Fire kept the lodge warm at night when it became chilly. Hot tub was secluded as specified. Quiet area. Loved it, just a shame it isnt dog friendly as we would like to book again but with our daughter and dog

Holiday at Esk Pike

I recently stayed at the Esk Pike Lodge and it was better than anything I could’ve hoped for. The hot tub was unreal and the lodge very cosy and traditional. Brilliant location in White cross bay as it’s in a more private spot. Had many friends ask for link to this lodge, definitely the best one in white cross bay. Hoping to be back next year!

Lovely Lodge

Whilst the park generally was a little tired in places the Lodge itself is tucked away in a little spot and feels very homely. The outdoor area and hot tub are so private and so high up you feel like you're in a tree house. The inside was cosy and comfortable. The kitchen is a little under equipped but we managed. Had a lovely week getting out and about.

Thank you for your review Joanna, we are delighted you enjoyed your stay in this lovely lodge. We are sorry you found the lodge to be slightly under equipped and your comments have been passed to the lodge owners for their information, please accept our apologise for any inconvenience caused. Esk Pike is in one of the most private areas of the park and is very much a home away from home. The secluded and covered hot tub is a real bonus and brings guests back year after year. We are so pleased you had a lovely week and we hope to welcome you back in the future.

Relaxed & Refreshed

Me and my daughter had a lovely relaxing stay at EskPike. The location was secluded and peaceful and the Hot Tub was fantastic, especially as it was in its own enclosed section for privacy. We found it very welcoming and homely but I did struggle for comfort in the beds and this resulted in a poor sleep pattern through our stay. The cabin was clean and tidy, but I feel the outside could have been cleaned down and freed from all the cobwebs etc. As a whole we really enjoyed our stay and definitely returned home relaxed and refreshed as planned.

Thank you for your review, Kelly and it is pleasing to hear you had a lovely stay. This cosy log cabin is a great place to relax and unwind – and the hot tub is indeed fantastic. Noting your further comments, we shall raise these with the lodge owners as they are keen to address any issues promptly. Thank you for letting us know of your concerns and please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused. Despite these issues we are delighted you returned home relaxed and refreshed. Just how it should be.
