Spent 11 nights in Latterbarrow Lodge at Limefitt holiday park. The lodge is new and is situated close to the river. The weather was good and we were able to sit outside most days. It was very peaceful being by the river. As the lodge itself is new it is in excellent condition. It had been cleaned to a high standard for our arrival. We ate at the Haybarn several times. The food is good and the staff work hard to ensure your safety and were all very friendly.

I absolutely loved the lodge. It was comfortable, clean and most importantly, extremely cosy. The running river outside gave it a truly serene feeling at night. Ideally located between Windermere and Ambleside, it was the perfect retreat after a long day out and about. As a side note, it won me some major brownie points with my partner. I will definitely be returning.
