Excellent stay in nice and beautiful location

Our family stayed at this place for 2 days, its an excellent accomodation in beautiful location. Lowther Brow was a very clean and tidy, we have all we wanted here. Kid play area is very nice, our kids enjoyed. I strongly recommend this place for all who wanted to visit Windermere and Ullswater lakes. We have covered both these lakes within 2 days by cruise and car.

Thank you for your review and great ratings, Vamshi. It is such a pleasure to hear you had an excellent stay at Lowther Brow. Indeed a beautiful location and the lodge is stunning. A very popular choice for those looking for luxury accommodation in the Lakes. The lodge is located in a peaceful setting surrounded by countryside, yet Bowness-on-Windermere, Ambleside and Ullswater are all within easy reach for trips out. We are so pleased you enjoyed your stay and look forward to you returning in the near future.

Very relaxing break

Beautiful lodge in a beautiful location, I would recommend this lodge and to anyone. The park it's self is very well maintained, as was the lodge. The pub on site was really friendly and the views from the beer garden were amazing. The food wasn't great, I would expected the food to be homemade but unfortunately it was your run of the mill pub food.

Always limefitt for me.

I've stayed at limefitt many times and just love the setting. We had amazing weather which is a bonus. I'll be back but perhaps a different lodge as lowther barrow I felt was too small and also felt older compared to other lodges I've stayed in.

Thank you for your review and we are we were pleased to hear you had great weather during your stay. Lowther Brow is a popular and comfortable 2 bed lodge and we are a little surprised you found it too small. It is only around 5 years old so there are actually very few 'newer' lodges at Limefitt. We do hope you will stay once more at Limefitt and we will be delighted to arrange a stay at one of the other privately owned lodges we have there which may be more suitable to your taste.

A lovely base nestled in the lakes!

First time at this park and it was amazing, we stayed for a short break with family and our Labrador(and it was perfect for him!) we had great weather so we were lucky to see the full park and trips out that are not far away and then we nestled back to the lodge on the evening and relax! Many great things about this stay, the lodge was fantastic and worth the money, limefitt park is perfect for relaxing, the park is great for the children and many walks around the area to see the amazing scenery around! We regularly travel upto the lakes and this is a place we would return too!
