Dripping shower in en-suite. Sofa and chairs very uncomfortable could do with replacing. Bigger TV needed in lounge with more choice of channels e.g. Sky

Thank you for the review, Kim. We are delighted you had a great stay at Stickle Ghyll. This is a fantastic lodge to simply relax and take in the fantastic lake views and perhaps a dip in the hot tub. Noting your suggestions, we have passed these on to the Owners to take into consideration although please note the choice of TV channels are limited due to the location. Stickle Ghyll offer guests a relaxing break from everyday life and is a super base from which to explore the Lakes and all it has to offer. We do hope to welcome you again in the near future.

We stayed for a long weekend in Stickle Ghyll Lodge - a well enjoy stay in a beautiful lodge. Had everything we needed, modern furnishings, and the hot tub was a BONUS! Easy check in with a lady at reception who met you at your car on arrival then the code to the key safe text shortly after we arrived. Lovely location, in 30 min walking distance to Windermere and close to Ambleside, Keswick etc for plenty of days out and back to the lodge to relax. One of the most private lodges in the park which we were happy with and overlooking Lake Windermere which was lovely to wake up to! Have already recommended to several friends and family and will definitely look to stay again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Stickle Ghyll and even though the weather was a bit dull the stunning views did not disappoint. It was so lovely sitting outside watching the boats on Lake Windermere and having the use of the hot tub also with great Lake views. The lodge is very nice, although a little tired, but everything was clean. We had a couple of minor issues with the lodge which were dealt with very quickly. There is plenty to do in the local area and the location is great for travelling to the fells for some fantastic walks. This was our third time staying at White Cross Bay and we will definitely be back again. Thank you
