I had a great week at Pippin Lodge, being one bed and one bath it is ideal for solo holiday makers as well as couples, it was just the right size for me, I really liked the lodge.

I liked the open plan living, kitchen, dining arrangement, it made it easy to get a drink or a snack in the evening when watching tv. Great to have the parking space right outside the lodge, also great to have smart tv, I was able to watch a series on Netflix I was following. I wanted to take the electric reclining sofa home with me so comfy with your feet up, really comfy bed, good walk in shower. I really liked the decked verandah at the front of the lodge it gets lots of sun, I brought my own lounger with me, but a table and chairs are provided. The Pastures park is a really nice park very well maintained gardens and lots of trees very leafy and green, it’s also very peaceful. I thought Pippin Lodge was in a great position on the park it is tucked away in a really quiet corner. I will definitely be coming back, I can’t recommend enough.

A very clean, comfortable and well equipped lodge in beautiful surroundings.

Decked areas provided the ideal place to sit and enjoy the peace and tranquility. Good pubs nearby and Cartmel and Grange Over Sands a short drive away. A great location for visiting the southern Lakes. The only slight downside is the absence of an extended walk within the site but the nearby lanes are almost traffic free so it would not put me off booking another stay. I would recommend Pippins Lodge.
