Millstream Ridge

Lovely property.

Well furnished and equipped. The location has a very interesting history and the grounds are worth looking around. The site itself is very quiet and private. I would highly recommend this site. Plenty to see and do without travelling far which was a bonus. I wouldn’t hesitate to book this again in the future.

The lodge was beautiful and one of the most comfortable I have ever stayed in.

It was in a lovely setting with walks right on your door step.

Lodge had everything you might want. They provided a few dishwasher tablets, cleaning bits, tea towels, iron, airer. Everything spotless and looked fairly new. The rug was a bit marked but that was all. The locally made shampoo and conditioner was a nice touch. One of the best lodges and sites weve been to, would definitely return.

Great as a base for exploring the Lake District, or as a quiet retreat relaxing on the patio. Recommend.

Wonderful stay in a well equipped, spotlessly clean lodge.

Ideal location for exploring. We spent evening relaxing, playing board games after our long hikes. The cookies and dog treats were really appreciated, attention to details was so lovely felt like you were cared about.

Accommodation was perfect,very clean.

Bed was very comfortable, good quality appliances and furniture. We could easily live in the lodge,very spacious and modern. Surrounding beautiful and very interesting history of the land and buildings. Lovely welcome pack on arrival. A+

Really enjoyable stay, lovely grounds for our dog walks, accommodation was great with everything you needed.

The lodge was even better than expected, spotlessly clean, high quality furniture and fittings, gorgeous decor and in a beautiful quiet location, great base for getting around the lakes from.

I would 100% recommend and will be visiting again at somepoint next year.

It’s the perfect spot to enjoy your morning coffee while watching the birds and wildlife. We’ve had an amazing stay here—it’s very comfortable and the views are absolutely stunning. The place has been really well put together with everything you might need. Thank you, Sarah!

The lodge was dirty from previous guest's dogs hair everywhere.

The accommodation had not been properly cleaned and it's was disgusting. The oven didn't work. hoover was broken and had no charger and the kitchen had very limited cooking utensils. Reported to the company

We stayed at Millstream Ridge for a couple of nights as a birthday getaway.

The location is beautiful and quiet, 10 min drive away from the south of Windermere too. We also loved the stream that ran next to the cabins - and so did our dog! The lodge itself is so clean, spacious and modern, the kitchen is lovely and the bathrooms/showers a really good size. Absolutely perfect for dogs too as there is plenty of room in and around the lodge. The cabin was so well equipped, we loved the special touches (the fruit cake and nespresso machine was a favourite!) There was also a folder with all the information you could need about the surrounding area - walks, places to eat, amenities etc which was very useful. We were very grateful for the aircon unit as it was particularly warm when we stayed. 100% would recommended and we cannot wait to return!

Beautiful quiet location.

Lodge was perfect, everything we needed.

The lodge was very well equipped and was spotlessly clean.

The beds & sofas were extremely comfortable and the room fan was very welcome in the lovely warm weather we had. The surroundings were peaceful and well maintained with lovely walks on the doorstep. In a single word PERFECT. We hope to return again soon.

.absolutely beautiful and the perfect place to relax and reflect on the losses, including my Mum, that I had experienced in the last four months. The whole lodge was just amazing, you must feel very proud. And I’m still looking for a way to fit your kitchen, especially the island, into my kitchen!!!

Whilst the description said not to park at the lodges and park at the entrance, all the occupied lodges parked at the lodges when we were there.

There is the facility to do so without blocking access to other lodges. The lodges are well spaced out and very private. The lodge itself was immaculate, very spacious and well equipped. We loved it.

Fabulous lodge in a small parkland setting.

Nice and warm, quiet and well equipped. Some nice walks from the site over to Backbarrow and then to the Haverthwaite railway or up the hill to Bigland (views to the coast). Our third visit to the site. Highly recommended.

Another lovely stay at one of the splendid lodges at Wateredge Mill.

Very cosy, well equipped, lovely grounds and a nice welcome pack! The walk from the lodge to Bigland Heights is highly recommended for the great views of Morecambe bay; and lots of great walks around Grange and Ulverston nearby. Fabulous views of the Milky Way after dark too!

Millstream is a beautiful new lodge surrounded by woodland and meadow flowers with a lovely private patio and side 'garden'.

The local produce in the hamper was delicious. A huge amount of vision has gone into developing the site with its history, mature trees, grassy paths, and picnic benches. Private and peaceful. Thank you, we'll definitely return!
