Beautiful lodge, this was our 5th stay here and looking forward to many more, lodge has excellent facilities and has a lovely view of the lake
We had the most wonderful stay.
The views were amazing and we could really switch off and just enjoy our time away. My only issues were that the security for smaller dogs around the lodge wasn’t the best, our dog managed to get out from the ramp side as the gap from the gate to the floor was quite substantial. The lodge itself was clean, but the hoover provided didn’t suck up well enough for us to continue to keep cleaning through the week. A retouch of paint and some homely touches like a reed diffuser in certain rooms for smells would be nice. We wouldn’t happily stay here again though as these things didn’t put us off, but do feel the gates on the lodge need to be more secure. Excellent place to stay and didn’t want to leave!
Wow from when you unlock the door inside was beautiful, however just a few minor tweaks needed sadly some things shown on booking sadly not usable which was addressed in our email on arrival, outdoor area could do with an upgrade and clean, to match the inside, also arrived with children with one being under 2 unfortunately miniature animal toys left under sofa and inside sofa which could have ended badly (something maybe the cleaner should have noticed), But with that said this didn't stop us as a family having a brilliant stay, would still return.
