Coniston View Lodge

A lovely lodge in a great location.

It was as described on the Sykes website, comfortable and well looked after by the owner, Gary, and site maintenance. We were greeted by Jackie who was very pleasant, helpful and provided useful advice. The leisure park itself was of a high standard with good amenities and the on-site restaurant was of good value and quality. Thanks for a lovely family holiday!

We had the best holiday at Coniston View Lodge.

Jackie met us and showed us the way to the lodge. She explained everything we needed to know - including showing us the gorgeous welcome pack of prosecco, beer, crisps, popcorn, sweets and dog treats. The lodge itself was large and absolutely spotless. Our favourite part was the terrace which was soaked in evening sun; perfect for relaxing after days out with our children and dog. Our children (both teenagers) had an amazing time experiencing the watersports at Pine Lake which is a few minutes drive away from the lodge. We also had meals out at some lovely pubs as well as eating in the lodge in the well equipped kitchen. We holiday every year in Britain and this has become our favourite! None of us wanted to leave. We will definitely be back!

We had such a wonderful 5 days at the lodge.

It was everything we wanted and more and will definitely return. The lodge was comfortable , clean and the sunset on an evening over the lake is gorgeous.

Everything was super clean and felt very fresh. We loved the modern design, which made the space feel both stylish and comfortable. ​As pet owners, it was such a relief to find a place that is genuinely pet-friendly, and the value for money is truly hard to beat. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality, stress-free getaway. The welcome package was a perfect little extra with Jackie getting us non alcoholic drinks and even treats for the dogs. Can't wait to go back!

Great stay at Coniston view lodge

A very comfortable and warm lodge with lots of extras!

The duck food was especially welcomed!

The lodge was as advertised clean modern and catered for our every need.

The owner has also added some nice little touches such as milk, snacks, washing pods, and plenty of everyday utensils. Even dog treats and poo bags and food for the ducks. Location of the lodge on the lake was perfect and welcomed every morning by the ducks. Thank you for sharing this love lodge.

Stunning lodge with everything you could wish for , spotlessly clean and very modern, welcome pack on arrival was an added bonus , from Prosecco to tea , coffee and snacks , even treats for our dogs , we had 4 days of beautiful sunshine which wasn’t expected in Sept , so we spent time on the decking enjoying the lovely view of the lake , definitely 5 stars , we will be going back .

Lovely lodge, perfect for our needs

We had a lovely 7 day break at 8 Corniston View.

On arrival we were met by a Jackie who was very friendly. Our initial reaction was Wow! Lots lovely little finishing touches, the inside was clean and decor is lovely. The kitchen is fab everything you need and a bit more. The Prosecco, beers, snacks and dog treats a lovely touch. We did however, pick up on a few minor issues a few days into our break. When we arrived we couldn’t access the patio area as it was very heavy rain for first two days. When the rain eventually went off we noticed the tiles are very dirty as was the glass at front, the windows are in need of a good wash, also cobwebs and spiders everywhere inside and out. The spiders thankfully for us weren’t a big deal but if you have a fear of spiders watch out

A great place to stay.

Clean and tidy. Nice decor. Great location. Jackie who met us with the keys Wes really nice too. A lovely safe place to relax and chill out. I took my two small dogs and they were safe on the patio area of the property. Would highly recommend and we will go again.

5 Star all the way.

Best lodge we've stayed in. From the tea, coffee and milk to the prosecco and biscuits. Tin foil, dog treats, duck food etc... Very much appreciated. The lodge is stunning. Spotlessly clean, comfy beds, great showers, well equipped kitchen. Modern designer interior, Non-slip tiled veranda with lovely outdoor furniture, fantastic views. Highly recommended, first class lodge. Looking forward to a return visit. Joanne and family.

We had a Wonderfull weekend, the lodge was immaculate, comfortable, and well supplied with all that was needed.

The site was great, and a swim in the lake was a welcome treat during the sunny weekend.
