Welcome to Hollytree Lodge, a fabulous lodge sleeping only 4 people.

This spacious, light and airy, newly refurbished lodge is a perfect place to relax and is situated 3 miles from Windermere on Limefitt Park in the beautiful Troutbeck Valley. A tranquil site with stunning views away from the bustling towns of Windermere and Ambleside yet close enough to enjoy all local amenities. With direct access to the fells, ideal for walking and mountain biking, Limefitt is the perfect location for exploring the Lake District National Park.

The open plan living area is perfect for the whole family to enjoy together whilst cooking meals, playing games or watching a film. The decking is the perfect area to soak up the sun and enjoy the stunning views around. After a long day, retire to one of two bedrooms to relax.

Enjoy the onsite Haybarn Inn serving hearty meals and real ales with stunning fell views from the beer garden. A small shop selling essential groceries, launderette and drying room, children’s play area and river pool, pony trekking and free Wi-Fi internet access is also available.

If you'd rather eat out one evening, head to Troutbeck's Queen's Head for some delectable pub fare. On your way to the parish town of Windermere, make sure to also stop by the historic Townend farmhouse, a National Trust location that is popular with tourists. From Queen Adelaide's Hill, you can enjoy stunning views of Lake Windermere before spending an afternoon exploring the grounds of the renowned The World of Beatrix Potter Attraction. Borrans Park, Stagshaw Gardens, and Stock Ghyll Force waterfall are located in Ambleside, which is reachable by car. Miller Bridge, Paddy Lane Viewpoint, and the ancient Kendal Castle are just a few of the must-see places in the town of Kendal, which is located slightly further afield. All of this and much more is waiting for you during a stay at Hollytree Lodge.
