Canadian Cabin 37

We originally booked through booking .

Com but needed to change our accommodation and it was a nightmare trying to do this. So we rang Lowbiery holiday village direct and they sorted it within 5 minutes, we will not use booking .com again. The Cabin 37 was fantastic, location brilliant only downside for us was the bed was to soft and we kept rolling into the middle. But this did not spoil a great holiday, will definitely return but book direct with Lowbiery.

A lovely little cosy cabin, which was perfect for a mini-break.

We stayed in early December and it was nice and warm. Cabin has everything you need. Feels private with hedges along the side (and no one was using the kids swing/climbing frame which is close to the cabin as it was winter). Very close to a footpath (old train line) which leads to Keswick. Friendly staff on arrival - easy to collect key. Would book again.

An enjoyable 3 nights, close to main walking path into Keswick, great place for dogs.

Accommodation not really suitable for 3 adults.

Bunk room is suitable for two children not two adults. Poor selection of cooking utensil's for a family self catering cabin many utensil’s dirty and well worn. Internet poor availability. Fabulous location, lovely helpful staff, very welcoming.

Great location for walks and walking into Keswick.

The Lodge was really clean and cosy and had everything we needed. The only downside would be the patchy WiFi and non existence of it in the bedroom but didn't bother us too much as it's nice to switch off and relax

Second time here, we love it.

The peace and escapism from the rat race. The WiFi is very patchy as is the mobile signal but this is a positive, you properly relax. Love the disused railway walk. We will return

We had a great stay here, and the cabin was a good location for us and the dog.

It would have been good to be pre-warned that we needed to bring our own hand soap and washing up liquid, particularly as there are no shops on site. There was also limited toilet roll and the dvd player wasn't working properly on arrival. This was disappointing as the WiFi was also very unreliable and we could not get netflix or other streaming services on the TV. This was however resolved for us by the friendly reception staff :) an air freshener would also have been nice as the cabin smelt strongly of dog on the sofas when we first arrived. Other than the above, we had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend the cabin to friends and family

The property was clean, well equipped, exactly what you would need for a self catering holiday in lovely surroundings.

Very comfortable. The only criticism is that the site it's on could do with more outside lighting as it was very dark round the cabin in the evening, we had to use our phone torches to get to the cabin when we had been walking all day as it was October it was going dark early.

The cabin was lovely and well maintained.

The location is beautiful, with good walking from the site, including the beautiful woods up along the River Greta. A number of hilly walking routes are available from the site as well. The site was quiet (we visited in mid-September) and dog friendly. The river provides a calming soundtrack. The only slight downside was that, although wifi worked OK in the living room, we could not connect from the bedroom, although we were not too bothered as we were there to enjoy the Lakes rather than spend time online.

Very comfortable well equipped cabin in a great location

This was our first holiday in six years, my husband myself and Daisy Dog had a lovely time in this cabin.

The K2T Railway walk into Keswick was easy and very enjoyable. We walked every night into the town even after a long days walk in the area fabulous places to visit lovely views and the campsite was spot-on clean lovely people, fabulous receptionists who would give you any information you needed 10 out of 10.

Our cabin was gorgeous very clean and had everything you would ever need.

Some accommodation had lots of steps which was frustrating but didn’t affect how much we loved the cabin. Only issue was there was wild water swimming advertised which there isn’t any access to the river what so ever even in you walk all the way down and climb down it’s not even a foot of water so delicately not able to swim.

Not a very warm welcome three receptionists talking amongst themselves & I felt I was an unwelcome interruption.

The location was perfect , the cabin was clean and tidy , decent shower but said there was wifi but didn’t work inside the cabin and lack of meal size bowls

Lovely cabin.

Everything we wanted, so peaceful, right next to the Old Railway Track Threlkeld to Keswick, a short 15 minute walk to the TWA Dogs pub where we ate out twice.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Comfortable and clean. Great views and not far from Keswick Town, about 1.5 miles , short drive . Would definitely book again and recommend staying at this lodge.
