Hartsop, Ullswater, North Lakes

‘Jenny’ Hartsop Pod

Crossgate Luxury Glamping are two single-storey pods in Hartsop, Cumbria. This collection offers a hot tub to watch the stars, and a fire pit to keep you toasty, making this an idyllic setting for two couples or a family of four. Both pods have a studio-style layout with colourful décor and you can curl up on the sofa bed with a TV for entertainment.  Within a few minutes you are at the atmospheric Brotherswater Lake, with walk all the way round and the Brotherswater Inn for a pint and food.

Ten minutes drive away is Ullswater, the beautiful Lake itself, and access to amazing countryside: Helvellyn, St Sunday Crag, and of course, the newly created Ullswater Way,  so be sure to pack your hiking gear. Nearby Patterdale and Glenridding have pubs and restaurants to treat yourself, and you can climb aboard the atmospheric Ullswater Steamers for a glide across the lake.

Kendal, South Lakes

Croft Foot Farm, Tan & Yan  Set in a peaceful spot, a stone’s throw from the popular market town of Kendal and perched on the owner’s farm, is this pair of quirky wooden pods. Facing in opposite directions to maintain a level of privacy with large communal grassy area between the two pods, this group of properties is perfect for a small gathering. Simply step outside and explore your surroundings, ideal for avid walkers, hikers or cyclists. Brampton, North Lakes

Dunfell Shepherd’s Hut is a lovely, traditional shepherd’s hut located in the little village of Knock 5 miles from Appleby-In-Westmorland.  It’s a perfect base for a couple seeking a relaxing break away from it all, relishing a peaceful setting inside the Lake District National.  You’ll enjoy a lovely front yard with a fire pit, a quiet secret garden is just to the side of the home, where you could sit and eat alfresco amongst nature.
