Looking for a dog friendly place to stay in the Lake District?  It's the ideal place to bring your dog on holiday and many of our holiday lodges and log cabins welcome dogs. There are miles of footpaths and walks to keep even the most active dog happy with many dog friendly attractions and pubs to visit. We think we have the most 'dog friendly' destination in Britain!

There are so many great walks nearby:  The Troutbeck Valley, School Knott in Windermere, Tarn Hows, Latterbarrow and The Grizedale Forest are great places for dog friendly exploring in the local area. Check out our Things to Do page or our Dog Blog for more ideas.

All our dog-friendly lodges have gated decks to ensure your pooch can safely enjoy their stay. Limefitt Park has a spectacular dog field and The Haybarn Pub here welcomes dogs.  There are woodland dog walks within White Cross Bay and an outside dog friendly garden adjacent to the clubhouse (sorry but dogs are not allowed in the main clubhouse complex). Dogs at High Borrans must be kept on a lead in the farm area.

Your dog/s must be fully house trained. Usually we accept 2 but for some lodges it is restricted,  please refer to the information on each lodge. Please see our doggie T&C's here:  booking terms and conditions.
