“Really gorgeous stay!”
The luxury pod genuinely felt luxurious. It has direct access to Keswick via a footpath from the site, reception is easy to reach and there’s also a little onsite café, although we didn’t get a chance to try it.
The location was convenient for trails too, the Helvellyn car park was only around a 10 minute drive away, and we walked from the holiday village to Castlerigg Stone Circle in about 40 minutes, which was a lovely scenic walk with animals along the way.

The pod has a stove and oven, although the oven took us a little while to figure out (a quick Google helped!). The shower was gorgeous (although the bathroom is very small, so definitely a bit of a squeeze). The bedroom was lovely and really comfortable, and having smart TVs in both the bedroom and lounge was a great bonus. You can cast from your phone, although we occasionally had other guests trying to connect to the TV too so make sure you figure out the name of your tv through the settings
