Welcome to Buttermere, a popular two bedroom holiday lodge with hot tub Buttermere is a modern and spacious lodge located in the Glade area of Fallbarrow Park. The lodge enjoys being situated in a quieter area of the park. The clubhouse and facilities are a short distance away. Buttermere is stylishly decorated and fully equipped for the perfect relaxing break. Outside is a spacious deck with the added bonus of a hot tub - perfect anytime of the year! The delightful bustling town of Bowness-on-Windermere with its array of shops, restaurants, bars, amenities and attractions is just a few yards away. Great for when you don't want to drive. A hugely popular lodge that keeps guests returning year after year. The lodge welcomes 1 well behaved dog. Accommodation Details Living area: - Spacious open plan living, dining and kitchen area - Furniture includes two fabric sofas - 40" TV on a corner unit with integrated DVD player - Feature electric fire with surround Kitchen area: - Well equipped fitted kitchen with gas hob and electric oven, integrated fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave oven, cutlery and crockery plus storage space - Glass dining table with 4 chairs Master bedroom: - Carpeted bedroom with a double bed - Range of fitted furniture including a wardrobe, cupboards, drawers and dressing table - TV with integrated DVD - En suite shower room with shower cubicle, hand basin and toilet Second bedroom: - Carpeted bedroom with twin beds (3 feet width) - Fitted wardrobe and dressing table - TV with integrated DVD Family bathroom: - Family bathroom with over bath shower and screen, hand basin, toilet and heated towel rail/radiator Other information: - There is a washing machine in the hallway cupboard - Centrally heated throughout ensuring a comfortable stay all year round - Please bring your own DVDs - Please note: Guests staying at Fallbarrow during January & February should note that there will be limited onsite facilities. Reception will be open but the Boathouse Bar & Restaurant will be closed. There are plenty of bars, restaurants and cafes in nearby Bowness on Windermere just a short 5 minute walk away.

Windermere Train Station 1.5 miles: Ambleside 5 miles; Kendal 7 miles.

The vibrant twin towns of Bowness and Windermere hold enduring appeal for visitors to the Lake District National Park, with each providing a range of nearby attractions, amenities, shops and restaurants to suit all tastes. A variety of boat trips and boat hire are available from Windermere Lake Cruises in Bowness to Brockhole, Ambleside and Lakeside (at the southern end of the lake where the Lakeside Aquarium and the Lakeside and Haverthwaite Railway are situated). The World of Beatrix Potter attraction and the Old Laundry theatre are 1.5 miles away. Orrest Head, where Alfred Wainwright was inspired to write his series of iconic guidebooks, is a 30-minute walk to enjoy the spectacular panorama of far-reaching views over the lake and surrounding fells. Brockhole, which offers high wire tree top experiences, is less than two miles away, and the historic villages of Grasmere, Ambleside and Troutbeck are a short drive away. There are also a variety of watersports on offer for the more energetic at marine centres along the lake. The area is ideally situated for exploring all that this region has to offer, whether by foot, bike, car, railway or bus; and is within easy reach of attractions such as the spectacular Langdales, Beatrix Potter’s Hill Top House at Far Sawrey, Coniston, Grizedale Forest Park, with its delightful walks and famous outdoor sculptures, mountain biking and “Go-Ape” adventure park, Ullswater, Kendal, Keswick, stone circles, Roman forts and England's highest mountain, Scafell Pike.

Buttermere is accessed by 4 steps. The lodge is then all on the same ground floor level.

A travel cot will fit in the twin bedroom only. Please bring your own travel cot and highchair as they are not provided.

Subject to Fallbarrow Park Holiday Park rules:
Commercial vehicles, caravans or camper vans cannot be parked on the site.
Hen or stag parties are not permitted.
Dogs must not be left alone in the lodges at any point during your stay.

Fallbarrrow Park management lock the entrance gates at midnight. If you are arriving after midnight, please call the night warden.

There is a Good Housekeeping Bond of £100 for this property.
