    “It is a great location and we have stayed at a different one in the past.”

    Unfortunately, a few small problems with 13, Treetops. There was only one key which can be difficult if parties want to go out separately. The bath plug had no chain so had to use a knife to get it out of the bath each time we had a bath. No welcome pack or information. Problems with the TV connecting to internet. We did phone your office while we were there but didn't hear back. Apart from that, lovely stay and would book a different chalet next time.

This charming tree-top one-story lodge, Treetops, is located in a well-liked holiday complex, Fallbarrow Holiday Park in Windermere, Cumbria. Treetops, which accommodates six guests and offers an open-plan living area, off-road parking for two cars, and lakeside views, is a delightful home base from which to explore Cumbria's attractions. This tree-top lodge offers privacy as it is in an elevated position. Cross the threshold into a roomy living space where you may relax after a long day of excursions in front of the electric fireplace and Smart TV; familiarise yourself with a great selection of appliances in a well-stocked kitchen; and sit down at the pleasant dining table to enjoy a meal as a family. Alternately, stroll outside onto the covered terrace to enjoy a romantic outdoor setting with the lake as your backdrop. When it becomes dark outside, wash the day away in a chic en-suite bathroom or the spacious bathroom, before pulling back the plush covers of a king-size with TV, double, single or bunk bed to rest your head. You have a wide variety of things to see and do in this area. Start the day at the Beatrix Potter World Attraction and continue to the beloved author's former residence at Hill Top. You can also climb Queen Adelaide's Hill to take in the breathtaking views of the area or stop to admire the pristine beauty of Stock Ghyll Force waterfall. On Lake Windermere, try your hand at a variety of water sports, or wander the grounds of Wray Castle, which is held by the National Trust. Travel to Rydal to explore the stunning Rydal Mount Gardens and Rydal Cave, and make sure to stop by Wordsworth Grasmere to view the poet's former home. You are also conveniently located to travel to the well-known tourist locations of Ambleside, Latterbarrow, and Keswick, which are home to the Derwentwater Lake, Keswick Museum, and Puzzling Place. About the location

WINDERMERE

Ambleside 5 miles; Kendal 8.7 miles.

The twin towns of Bowness and Windermere are both vibrant, fun-filled places set within the splendid scenery of the Lake District. Both towns provide a range of amenities, shops and restaurants to suit all tastes whilst Ambleside offers the additional attraction of a boat ride to Bowness, the Lakeside Aquarium and Beatrix Potter's 'Hill Top House' at Sawrey. Grizedale Forest Park is within easy driving distance and is home to a range of activities including many good walks, mountain biking and the 'Go Ape' adventure park. The region also boasts many National Trust properties as well as a variety of water sports for those who prefer a more adrenaline-fuelled trip. Children will enjoy a trip to the 'World of Beatrix Potter' in Bowness whilst the villages of Grasmere, Coniston Water, Kendal, Keswick and the Lakeland Mountains are all within easy reach.

There is insufficient space to fit a travel cot in the bedrooms and would have to be placed in the living room area. Please bring your own travel cot and highchair as they are not provided.

Fallbarrrow Park management lock the entrance gates at midnight. If you are arriving after midnight, please call the night warden.

Please note that the charging of electric vehicles is not permitted at this lodge.
The nearest charging point can be found at Booths Supermarket in Windermere.


Park Rules and Operations – Fallbarrow

All holiday parks are owned and managed by a separate company to ourselves. Lake District Lodge Holidays has no association with the owners of these parks or responsibility for the provision of services they offer. At certain times of year, there maybe a reduction in those services, which is outside of our control.

Commercial vehicles, caravans, camper vans, Hen or Stag parties are not permitted onsite. Dogs must be kept on leads at all times and are not be left alone in the lodges at any point during your stay.

You will be staying on an operational holiday park, which means work may be undertaken from time to time by the park owners during your stay. Although Lake District Lodge Holidays will always try to inform guests in advance if something may impact on a stay and if we have prior knowledge. We cannot be held responsible or accept any liability for park operations of which are outside of our control and which we have no knowledge of.

Any issues relating to a stay at a privately owned lodge should be reported back through Lake District Lodge Holidays as the park are not responsible for managing the lodge or booking for private sublet guests during their stay.

Complimentary WiFi is provided by the park and subject to fair usage guidelines. Quality and reliability of connection will vary based on the number of people using it, prevailing weather conditions and therefore may be limited or slower than you are used to.
