Description

Brightwater Lodge is located in the heart of the Lake District on the famed White Cross Bay resort.

Ideal for a group of friends or a family looking to explore the beauty of Cumbria, this lodge has a fantastic setting on a site bursting at the seams with amenities like an arcade, multi-sports court, adventure playground, indoor pool, sauna, and steam room, as well as its own private wrap-around decking with furniture and hot tub.

Step inside your holiday home and relax in front of the warm electric fireplace after a long day of sightseeing.

Step inside the well-appointed kitchen later on to help whip up delicious dinners for the whole family, then relax with a drink on the deck or a long soak in the hot tub before retiring for the night.

The double with en suite, the double, and the bunk room are all equipped with TVs, perfect for lounging in bed on a rainy morning after a day of exploring.

If you can pull yourself away from the site long enough, spend the day exploring the attractions woven throughout the popular lake town of Windermere, where you can enjoy a relaxing boat trip on the lake or try something more adventurous by taking to the open water on paddle boards or kayaks, offering a truly unforgettable perspective of the lake's breath-taking scenery.

Holehird Gardens, where you may stroll among the gorgeous assortment of flora, the National Trust site of Townend, and the adventure park Brockhole on Windermere, which features unique experiences like zip-lines and archery, are also nearby and highly recommended.

Brightwater Lodge is a place where adventures can be had.

Unfortunately the cleanliness of this lodge was well below par cobwebs on the light fittings the oven was rusting inside and the trays were dirty it also had a fault .

The freezer had mould in it . But the most disturbing thing was the smell that hits you as you enter a pungent discussing smell that got worse as the break went on . During the night it would drift into the bedroom like rotting cabbage . This was reported to the number given and I was told I would be contacted this never happened. I finally spoke to the owner who dismissed my complaint saying he had been there for a break at the weekend and started tottering on about car charging from the lodge instead. When I asked if he would send someone to investigate he said no . We left 2 days early and the sad thing is we have a child with special needs and he couldn't comprehend why we had to leave early. Beware this lodge there are much better ones available nearby

This was a very cosy and comfortable lodge which was well situated within the park.

It benefitted from having a hot tub which our family really enjoyed using. Beds were comfortable and the living area spacious.

We had a lovely restful week.

Easy walk to lake and marina. Restaurant is very good, food was exceptional, we had a few good meals, including breakfast. Lodge is very comfortable and in a good position on park.
