This delightful, pet-friendly lodge offers a variety of on-site amenities, including an indoor pool, a sauna, a bar, and a convenience store. Lake Windermere and its activities are also conveniently nearby, and the open-concept living area is ideal for families wishing to explore the Lakes. Enter your new home-away-from-home after a day of adventure and relax in front of the Smart TV before helping to prepare a hearty meal in the fully equipped kitchen with integrated appliances. As the sun begins to go down over the park, gather the family around the table for a meal before passing through the patio doors to enjoy evening beverages outside. When it's time for bed, go inside to the bathroom to wash the day away. After tucking the kids into one of the twin bedrooms, go to the roomy double room with the convenient en-suite shower room to rest up before another excursion in Windermere. Hike Claife Heights, Bran Fell, or Orrest Head for spectacular views of the surrounding area. Outdoor enthusiasts can also enjoy the many walks and pathways weaved throughout the National Park. If you continue north, you can explore Rydal Cave, which was once a slate quarry, or stroll through Wordsworth's rustic family home and gardens, Rydal Mount and Gardens, which has views of the lake. Nearby is Wordsworth Grasmere, which is known as the poet's old residence and offers guided tours and a beloved tea room.
