    “This is a lovely lodge.”

It did smell a little of dogs when we first entered; maybe because people staying before had dog(s) with them. We got used to it though! Bedding and the place generally was really clean. Would suggest maybe skimming bedroom doors slightly to main bedrooms - seems new carpets have been put in 2 double bedrooms and it was quite hard to open/close the doors. Only minor points though - otherwise, great stay; great location and would recommend.

Thank you for your lovely review. As owners we take great pride in our lodges. We have had a recent full refurbishment which explains the doors catching the new carpets. We hope we can accommodate you again in the future Property Owner
