Thank you for your feedback. We also love the local pubs, especially the Farmer’s Arms community run pub at Lowick Green. Great beers and the wood fired pizza on a Thursday night is not to be missed. Property Owner

Water Yeat is a small hamlet in the Crake Valley, not far from the shores of Allan Tarn, featured in Arthur Ransome's book Swallows And Amazons as Octopus Lake, and a 10 minute walk from the shores of Coniston Water in the beautiful Lake District National Park. At the southern tip of Coniston Water, where Allan Tarn turns into the Crake River, lie the Hamlets of Water Yeat and Nibthwaite. Coniston Water, one of the most imposing and beautiful English Lakes, is situated to the west of Lake Windermere.
