Welcome to Robin's Nest, a spacious two bedroom holiday lodge Robin's Nest is a spacious 2 bedroom lodge in the popular Bowness area of White Cross Bay. It enjoys a great position just a few hundred yards from Lake Windermere. The lodge is well equipped with everything you might need for a relaxing stay. With a Sky Q TV with 'signature' entertainment package (no Sports Channels). Perfect to keep all the family happy on a wet evening! Outside there is a spacious deck with glimpses of the lake – a delightful place to sit out and enjoy the evening sunshine. Sorry we are unable to accepts dogs at Robin's Nest Lodge. Accommodation Details Living area: - Entrance into the very spacious lounge, dining and kitchen area - Two leather sofas and coffee table - Feature electric fire - 49" TV with Sky Sports and Entertainment Channels. - Patio doors open onto the front west facing deck Kitchen area: - Fitted kitchen - Equipment includes a 4 ring gas hob with built in gas oven, microwave, and full size upright integrated fridge and freezer. - Dishwasher and microwave Master bedroom: - Double bed and bedside drawers - Walk into dressing area with fitted wardrobe - Wall mounted TV - En suite shower room with corner shower cubicle and thermostatic shower, hand basin and toilet Second bedroom: - Full size twin beds - Bedside table and wardrobe Family bathroom: - The main bathroom includes an over bath shower and screen, hand basin and toilet Other information: - Centrally heated ensuring a comfortable stay all year round

About the location

WINDERMERE

Ambleside 5 miles; Kendal 8.7 miles.

The twin towns of Bowness and Windermere are both vibrant, fun-filled places set within the splendid scenery of the Lake District. Both towns provide a range of amenities, shops and restaurants to suit all tastes whilst Ambleside offers the additional attraction of a boat ride to Bowness, the Lakeside Aquarium and Beatrix Potter's 'Hill Top House' at Sawrey. Grizedale Forest Park is within easy driving distance and is home to a range of activities including many good walks, mountain biking and the 'Go Ape' adventure park. The region also boasts many National Trust properties as well as a variety of water sports for those who prefer a more adrenaline-fuelled trip. Children will enjoy a trip to the 'World of Beatrix Potter' in Bowness whilst the villages of Grasmere, Coniston Water, Kendal, Keswick and the Lakeland Mountains are all within easy reach.

Robin’s Nest is accessed by 3 stone steps and then a further 5 composite board steps up to the deck. The lodge is then all on the same ground floor level.

A travel cot will fit in the twin bedroom only. Please bring your own travel cot and highchair as they are not provided.

Although Robin's Nest Lodge does not accept dogs, the lodge owners do occasionally take their own dog when staying.

White Cross Bay has its own onsite facilities. You will need to purchase a complex pass from reception which includes the use of the pool, gym, entertainment and access to bar and restaurant. The prices are subject to change by park management.

Commercial vehicles, caravans or camper vans cannot be parked on the site.
Hen or stag parties are not permitted.
