“I booked a stay at Badger's Hollow as a surprise for my girlfriend's birthday, and suffice to say we were not disappointed!”
The lodge is neatly set in a secluded part of the camp and is not overlooked at all. On entering the lodge it was nice and bright, and very clean. The bedrooms were both a good size and the master had an en-suite wetroom with overhead shower that was lovely. Every room was decorated nicely. In the kitchen there was a selection of teas, coffees and sweet treats, which was a really nice touch to the lodge. The owners also provide robes and slippers which were also very nice (albeit the slippers too small for someone with size 10 feet!). We only really used the lodge overnight for the 3 days that we were there, but it was always nice to come back to a warm and inviting lodge at the end of a day's walking, and the hot tub was perfect for unwinding. The views of the sky when relaxing in the hot tub at night were wonderful, as there is next to no light pollution around the lodge. This really made the holiday for us.
All in all, a very nice little lodge that is private, cosy, and perfect for a weekend away... or even longer! We will certainly be coming back given the chance.

Thank you for reviewing your stay and for the very kind comments, Chris. We were so pleased to hear you chose Badgers Hollow for a birthday surprise, a very good choice! The lodge is very well equipped to cater for all needs as well as some added little touches for a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. Lovely to hear you enjoyed days out walking and in such a beautiful part of the world, the scenery is fantastic. And the hot tub is indeed a super addition to any lodge and a great way to unwind. We look forward to welcoming you again in the very near future.
