“Really lovely lodge positioned at the end of a small cul-de-sac so no passing traffic.”

The lodge was very clean, warm and fresh. Quiet location although you could hear the traffic on the main road despite not being that close to it! Very handy for the park, swimming pool, restaurant etc. 5 minutes walk to the lake shore. White Cross Bay is ideally located for exploring the Lakes. The hot tub is a great addition to save having to hear 'I'm bored' from the kids as soon as you get back to the lodge! We also visited the swimming pool at Troutbeck Bridge which was an added bonus ...

The hot tub is a great addition to save having to hear 'I'm bored' from the kids as soon as you get back to the lodge! We also visited the swimming pool at Troutbeck Bridge which was an added bonus and also very clean and inviting. Great holiday and amazing weather for October! What did you enjoy most about your stay? Taking the kids up Loughrigg, first (mini) mountain conquered! What one experience (e.g attraction, walk, day out) would you recommend for our future guests? Would recommend getting the 555 bus from the bus stop at the entrance to WCB and going to Keswick, Grasmere & Ambleside. No parking hassles and you can get on and off as many times as you like.
