“Lovely lodge, spacious, good location on the site.”

However I'd say the kitchen needs a deep clean. The fridge had a foul smell & the oven/microwave/splash back needed a good clean. We didn't use the kitchen for these reasons. However I'd say it's still good value for money.

Fiendsdale is the ideal hideaway for a family of six, with ground-floor accommodation and just moments away from the sights of the Lake District National Park. When you arrive, you'll find convenient off-road parking for two cars before entering the open-plan living space, which hosts an inviting sitting area, where an electric fire warms you as you enjoy a film in front of the Smart TV. The kitchen is located behind the living area and is well-equipped with everything you need to prepare delectable meals for everyone to enjoy. Take advantage of the evening sun by dining on the decking, or at the nearby dining table during the cooler months. As the day comes to an end, find three well-appointed bedrooms, two of which are twins and one of which is a king-size with an en-suite cloakroom; the bedrooms also share access to a shower room. Begin the day with a steaming mug of coffee on the rear patio. During your stay, the park provides a variety of amenities, including a launderette, on-site shop, and bar/restaurant, as well as an amusement arcade and adventure playground. Windermere is only a short drive away and has more of your amenities as well as various attractions such as the Windermere Jetty Museum, outdoor activity centres, and ample walking routes. Why not spend the day in Ambleside, stopping at Jenkin Crag along the route, and visit Stock Ghyll Force or tour the Armitt Library & Museum Centre? There are many more attractions to see in the National Park, including the locations of Kendal and Ulverston, as well as a variety of outdoor delights ranging from the rivers to the majestic peaks.
