    “Lovely warm and cosy lodge with wonderful views over to Wansfell.”

    Lots of walks on the doorstep from the back of the park wonderful views over windermere and up the other side of the valley to Wansfell and if you want to go further over the Ambleside. The lodge is very well equipped and with very comfy beds, everything you could need for a relaxing stay.

The lodge is very well equipped and with very comfy beds, everything you could need for a relaxing stay. Park was quite busy which was good to see after the closures due to covid. Would highly recommend this lodge. Dog Friendly too which was a big bonus for us - 2 exhausted dogs everyday.

Welcome to Hideaway, a dog friendly three bedroom holiday lodge Hideaway is a spacious lodge in the Kirkstone area of Limefitt Park. The lodge enjoys a quiet position with beautiful views of the surrounding fells. Hideaway is beautifully presented for guests to relax and unwind after a day hiking and sightseeing. The lodge is well equipped ensuring a comfortable stay. It is ideal for families or couples and will sleep up to 6 guests plus an infant in a travel cot. Charming accommodation in a stunning location surrounding by Lakeland fells. The lodge welcomes up to 2 well behaved dogs. Accommodation Details Living area: - Spacious and bright open plan lounge and dining area - Furniture includes a comfortable 2 seater leather sofa and three leather armchairs - Large dining table with 6 chairs - 32" flat screen TV and DVD player - Digital radio with iPod dock and a selection of children's games and toys are available Kitchen area: - There is a well equipped fitted kitchen. Equipment includes a gas hob with electric oven, built in fridge and freezer, microwave, dishwasher, kettle and toaster, ample cutlery and crockery, plenty of generous storage space - Washing machine and dryer (in the utility cupboard) Master bedroom: - The master bedroom has a king size bed (5 foot wide) with bed side drawers and a built in dressing table with mirror - Fitted wardrobes and drawers - 19" TV with integrated DVD - En suite shower room with walk in shower, toilet and basin, vanity unit and mirror Second bedroom: - The second bedroom has a full size double bed and dressing table - Fitted wardrobes and drawers - 15" TV Third bedroom: - The third bedroom has full size twin beds - Fitted wardrobes and drawers Bathroom: - The family bathroom has a full size bath with shower, vanity unit, toilet and a shaving point Other information: - Full central heating and double glazing ensuring a comfortable stay all year round - Guests can hire a selection of DVDs from the shop at reception

Ambleside 5 miles; Kendal 8.7 miles.

The twin towns of Bowness and Windermere are both vibrant, fun-filled places set within the splendid scenery of the Lake District. Both towns provide a range of amenities, shops and restaurants to suit all tastes whilst Ambleside offers the additional attraction of a boat ride to Bowness, the Lakeside Aquarium and Beatrix Potter's 'Hill Top House' at Sawrey. Grizedale Forest Park is within easy driving distance and is home to a range of activities including many good walks, mountain biking and the 'Go Ape' adventure park. The region also boasts many National Trust properties as well as a variety of water sports for those who prefer a more adrenaline-fuelled trip. Children will enjoy a trip to the 'World of Beatrix Potter' in Bowness whilst the villages of Grasmere, Coniston Water, Kendal, Keswick and the Lakeland Mountains are all within easy reach.

Hideaway is accessed by 5 steps. The lodge is then all on the same ground floor level.

A travel cot will fit in either the master bedroom or second bedroom. Please bring your own travel cot and highchair as they are not provided.

Subject to Limefitt Park Holiday Park rules:
Commercial vehicles, caravans or camper vans cannot be parked on the site.
Hen or stag parties are not permitted.
Dogs must not be left alone in the lodges at any point during your stay.

There is a Good Housekeeping Bond of £100 for this property.
