Fantastic location, beautiful outdoor area and lovely choice of furniture and interior decoration.

Really appreciated having a washing machine! A few suggestions - the kitchen bin, whilst very stylish, is quite impractical as the swing lid makes it very difficult to scrape anything in. A cheese grater would be helpful. I didn’t give cleanliness full marks because there were a lot of white dog hairs on the blankets in the living area, the washing machine (our clothes came out with some hairs on), and the living room rug. The dog hairs are really the only thing that would stop me from booking again.

Rooms very cramped.

Stained sheets. Instructions regarding heating would be useful. Two rooms with bunks is unnecessary and makes it awkward for adult only use. Sockets in bedroom not easily accessible. Iron board and hoover should not be stored in bedrooms.

First impressions fantastic, lovely view of the lake and hills , exceptionally well organised and clean everything you need for a relaxing stay, lovely warm Lodge, will definitely be back.

Our 3rd stay at this brilliant property, love it.

(the other 15 or so at Acorn Lodge)The only issue is the tv,on all 3 stays we had issues with it.sound but no picture on normal channels.Maintance came out twice but wasn,t resolved.We made do with Prime so not too bad.Looking forward to our next visit in May.

We enjoyed our stay at Lakeland View & it was very comfortable, just a couple of things to feed back.

Not complaints, but things that would improve the visit. The guttering was dripping above the door, so every time one of us went in or out, we got a cold drip down the back of our neck. There is no lighting at the side of the lodge, so it's quite dangerous due to the steps. The key box was broken, so was unlocked when we arrived & we couldn't lock it when we left. There is nowhere to put footwear on entering the property, as it is carpeted in the hallway. Could do with a boot tray to put footwear on to save wetness/dirt transferring to the carpet

A lovely property, very modern and on a fab location with the view of the lake.

We would definitely return. We had a couple of teething issues on the day of arrival with the boiler not working and then later all power going off just in our lodge. Sykes cottages were great for the boiler issue (Jack), who sent out a handyman who turned the boiler onto manual as on auto it kept faulting. For the power issue we had to go to reception on site as we didn’t receive a call back for two hours from Sykes (Nicola), and it was pitch black. Overall the property was very clean but it was clear a dog had been in the property as there was white hair everywhere . The owners have a little gem here and they have made it very homely and cosy. It would just be the cleaning company who need to improve a little.

Very clean, comfortable and well equiped. In a perfect location. Cannot find any faults at all and would love to return sometime.

Nice lodge with everything you will need for your stay nice furnishings and comfortable.

We were impressed with the large elevated balcony which also had a nice table and chairs. Also only a short distance from Ambleside town and Windermere.

Beautiful Lodge - nicest we have stayed in.

Large bedrooms with plenty of storage (previous quests left socks etc in bedside cupboard). Would be good to have a mirror near sockets for drying/styling hair. Charging point in ensuite but none in main bathroom. Air-conditioning units in hall and living area great for when weather was hot. Would definitely recommend, and use again.

All was good except broken parasol which was needed as it was so warm

Lovely lodge and very spacious accommodation.

Great location, especially for those wishing to use the amazing bus service. The lodge could do with a broom for indoor and outdoor as the decking area was quite messy. No access to cushions for the decking sofa and chairs and a parasol would have been very welcome. Minor things but nothing that would spoil your stay.

We had a lovely stay at Lakeland View, the lodge was amazing, will definitely we back.

Fantastic property home from home only things we missed and required were a clothes horse and a parasol!

Lodge park quite noisy with maintenance should really take into consideration people are on holiday and don’t want 24/7 drilling and banging maybe we just hit unlucky with that! The park should have a work carried out policy we’re lodge prices could be reflected in specific months where work can only be carried out would be helpful?

Absolutely beautiful.

Could not fault a single thing. So clean and tidy and properly felt like a home from home. Very spacious too.

Beautiful, spacious property which was ideal for our family and our pet.

The location was perfect and the cabin had everything we needed. We would highly recommend and would definitely return.

The only thing that was missing was a hoover and a dust pan and brush for cleaning the floors and carpets.
