Welcome to Rowan, a charming two bedroom traditional lodge Rowan is a traditional lodge in the Pinewood area of Limefitt Park. It enjoys a delightful, peaceful position backing onto woodland where wildlife abounds. Rowan offers a cosy and comfortable retreat - the perfect welcome after a long day hiking. The lodge is regular visited by badgers who queue up for their peanut butter sandwiches! Rowan benefits from its own dedicated unlimited broadband connection. A favourite with many guests who return each year for its unique charm, character and badger sightings. The lodge welcomes up to 2 dogs. Accommodation Details Living area: - Open plan lounge and dining area with feature fireplace and living flame gas stove - Furniture includes a comfortable 3 seater fabric sofa and arm chair and pine dining table with 4 chairs - Electric convector heater in the dining area - Flat screen Smart TV which can be used in conjunction with the dedicated unlimited broadband connection via BT home hub - DVD player, combined radio/CD player, family board games plus a selection of Lake District walking books Kitchen area: - Well equipped traditional kitchen includes a gas oven and hob, freestanding fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster and cafetiere, cutlery and crockery, storage cupboards Master bedroom: - The master bedroom has a double pine bed and dressing table - Built in wardrobe and cupboards - Electric convector heater Second bedroom: - The second bedroom has 2 full size pine twin beds and small dressing table - Built in wardrobe and cupboards - Electric convector heater Bathroom: - Spacious bathroom with full size bath and over bath shower, toilet and wash basin - Bathroom cabinet with mirror and shaving point - Heated towel rail Other information: - Dedicated unlimited broadband connection via BT home hub. Ambleside 5 miles; Kendal 8.7 miles.

The twin towns of Bowness and Windermere are both vibrant, fun-filled places set within the splendid scenery of the Lake District. Both towns provide a range of amenities, shops and restaurants to suit all tastes whilst Ambleside offers the additional attraction of a boat ride to Bowness, the Lakeside Aquarium and Beatrix Potter's 'Hill Top House' at Sawrey. Grizedale Forest Park is within easy driving distance and is home to a range of activities including many good walks, mountain biking and the 'Go Ape' adventure park. The region also boasts many National Trust properties as well as a variety of water sports for those who prefer a more adrenaline-fuelled trip. Children will enjoy a trip to the 'World of Beatrix Potter' in Bowness whilst the villages of Grasmere, Coniston Water, Kendal, Keswick and the Lakeland Mountains are all within easy reach.

Rowan is accessed by a short pathway with 2 small steps before reaching the lodge. There are then 5 steps up to the deck. The lodge is then all on the same ground floor level.

Rowan Lodge has its own complimentary dedicated wifi.

A travel cot will fit in the master bedroom only. A travel cot is provided in the lodge for you. Please bring your own highchair as one is not provided.

Subject to Limefitt Park Holiday Park rules:
Commercial vehicles, caravans or camper vans cannot be parked on the site.
Hen or stag parties are not permitted.
Dogs must not be left alone in the lodges at any point during your stay.

There is a Good Housekeeping Bond of £100 for this property.
