Lake It Easy
Description
Lake It Easy is an appealing single-storey lodge resting near Troutbeck Bridge, Cumbria, with furnished decking, open-plan living, and off-road parking for two cars near Lake Windermere. Bringing families and friends together at White Cross Bay holiday park, this three-bedroom base places days on the water and adventures through the Lake District within easy reach.
Let mornings begin around the open-plan living space, where the kitchen has everything required to prepare breakfast before heading out for the day. Gather around the dining area to plan the route ahead, whether that means exploring on foot or taking to the water. On your return, pour a drink and step onto the decking to recount the day's highlights, before heading indoors for an evening with the Smart TV. When it is time to turn in, choose between a double bedroom with an en-suite walk-in shower and two twin rooms. A separate shower room makes freshening up straightforward for the rest of the party.
Take a trip to Windermere and spend time discovering the shores of England's largest lake, with walking, cycling, and lake activities among the possibilities. Continue to Bowness-on-Windermere, where younger visitors can enter the world of familiar storybook characters at The World of Beatrix Potter before the family boards a Lake Windermere cruise. Ambleside provides another destination for your itinerary and can also be reached on a cruise across the lake. Closer to the park, Brockhole Lake District Visitor Centre offers another family day out, including its Treetop Trek aerial adventure.
White Cross Bay itself adds an indoor swimming pool, marina, play areas, amusement arcade, and restaurant to the holiday possibilities.
Gather the family and let your next Lake District story begin at Lake It Easy.
