What guests are saying
Chestnut Lodge makes for a cracking base to explore Keswick and wider area.
Based in the lovely Low Briery holiday park it is a short easy stroll from Keswick. Around 20 mins along the Keswick to Threlkeld railway line, which is now a miles without stiles route. The lodge is comfortable and well appointed, it has all the amenities you could need. Warm, cosy and clean, good facilities. It is both a great base and somewhere pleasant to while away the evenings. It has a lovely view out over the river Derwent, which never gets old! Low Briery is a super little park, with a lovely little cafe and shop. The staff are friendly and helpful. This is our second visit to Low Briery and it won't be our last. To be recommended.
Lovely accommodation and site- beaut location!
would visist again
Beautiful setting, in a very well kept site with stunning views, lodge spacious and well presented and a great place to stay.
We liked this lodge a lot. The adjacent footpath to the site is perfect, and visually and historically interesting for short walks from the lodge with our dog. Would be useful to have a fenced off section where the bench is to the side of the lodge. The communal bins were very full, unsightly and by the area for children to play.
