Revised cleaning guidelines for our cleaning teams, owners and suppliers
In light of the recent COVID-19 Pandemic, we have provided all our self employed cleaning teams, property owners and suppliers with recommendations and guidance for cleaning, disinfecting and sanitisation of properties between guest changeovers.
These recommendations and guidelines are endorsed by Visit Britain, Cumbria Tourism and other professional Tourism Organisations in line with Government directives for the easing of travel restrictions.
Cleanliness has always been very important and plays a key part in the health and safety, satisfaction and overall experience of our guests’ holiday, and now more than ever, it is critical to reduce the risk of spreading infection.
Our cleaning teams and property owners have been provided with cleaning guidance and advice that covers the following areas:
- Use of Protective Personal Equipment (PPE) by cleaners or changeover staff
- Use of effective and adequate disinfectants and cleaning methods
- Allocating extra time to allow for any additional cleaning
- The requirement for all cleaning staff to work to relevant government social distancing guidelines, if working as a team.
