Welcome to Burr Ghyll, a traditional 3 bedroom holiday lodge with lovely views Burr Ghyll is a traditional pine cabin situated at the popular Burnside Park on the outskirts of Keswick. It enjoys a lovely position with uninterrupted views to the nearby peaks of Latrigg and Skiddaw. The lodge has all the home comforts and is ideal for families. It also benefits from its own unlimited use broadband connection. We regret we are unable to accept pets at Burr Ghyll. Please note: All stays are offered on a 7 night basis with a Saturday arrival. Accommodation Details Living area: - Open plan lounge, dining and kitchen area - Feature fire surround with electric fire - Furniture includes a 2 & 3 seater fabric sofa with armchair. Dining table with 6 chairs - Flat screen TV and X-box Kitchen area: - Well equipped and appointed fitted kitchen with an electric induction hob and oven - Fridge, microwave, dishwasher, kettle and toaster, ample cutlery and crockery - Small freezer and washing machine in cupboard in living room Master bedroom with ensuite: - Double bed, dressing table plus wardrobe and storage - Wall mounted TV - Ensuite shower room with shower cubicle, toilet, vanity unit, sink and basin First twin bedroom: - The second bedroom has full size twin beds with a small dressing table and wardrobe - Wall mounted TV Second twin bedroom: - The second bedroom has full size twin beds with a small dressing table and wardrobe - Wall mounted TV Family shower room - Shower with electric thermostatic shower, sink, toilet and electric towel rail, shaving point Other information: - Burr Ghyll has its own fast broadband connection. This should be suitable for streaming services allowing you to log into your Amazon Prime, Now TV or Netflix accounts - Electric heating and double glazing ensuring a cosy feel all year round

KESWICK

Bassenthwaite 7 miles, Ullswater 16.6 miles; Cockermouth 13 miles.

The popular town of Keswick is the holiday centre of the North of the Lake District and has plenty to offer the visitor at any time of year. The town boasts numerous shops and restaurants to suit all tastes, as well as offering miniature golf, excellent parks, the famous Theatre by the Lake, a charming cinema, the Pencil Museum, a climbing wall, fishing and great mountain biking opportunities, whilst the beautiful lake of Derwentwater at the head of the stunning Borrowdale Valley is only a few minutes walk from the town centre. Nearby, between Braithwaite and Buttermere is the beautiful Newlands Valley, while picturesque Bassenthwaite Lake is well worth a visit. From a gentle countryside ramble to a challenging hike up Skiddaw or the famous Catbells, there really is something for everyone. Visit Castlerigg Stone Circle, the Jennings Brewery and Mirehouse, a grand house and gardens on the shores of the Bassenthwaite Lake, or take a fabulous boat trip around Derwentwater. With plenty of attractions for the kids, lovely parks and the nearby Lake District Wildlife Park this is a great Lakeland destination whatever the time of year.

A travel cot will fit in the master bedroom only and is provided for you. Please bring your own highchair as one is not provided.

The outside deck is fully enclosed but not gated.
