“The site is absolutely stunning and the stag absolutely delivered.”

Inside is beautiful and the decor is on point. Absolutely had the best time here with my wife for our 14th anniversary. Inside is beautiful and the decor is on point. Absolutely had the best time here with my wife for our 14th anniversary. The only things we were disappointed about were No oven to cook meat in , no wardrobe for clothing and the shower size possibly the smallest shower inclosure ive ever been in and the water pressure to shower was very poor. The step out side by the entrance to the stag was a little bit dangerous when you had a few drinks as you just could not see it . It could have done with a little marking out maybe or some sort of feature Mat to give it a little definition. Apart from that you will not be disappointed as it is truly amazing and you will enjoy your stay. Thanks so much team Crossgates. We really had the most amazing time and will cherish our stay here forever

Thank you for taking the time to submit your valued feedback. We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed your stay in The Stag and that the accommodation and service we provide have contributed towards cherished memories of your anniversary. It is so important to us that our guests have a wonderful time and we welcome all feedback and suggestions offered. We are disappointed to hear that you were inconvenienced by the lack of oven and wardrobe in The Stag. The property description, however, does state that cooking facilities comprise of an electric hob and microwave. In order to provide adequate and comfortable space in the living area, we have chosen to use hangers on the back of the bathroom door rather than installing a wardrobe which, we feel, is the best compromise. Low water pressure in the shower is something of a mystery as this works off the mains but we will of course monitor this closely moving forward. The size of the shower enclosure, whilst possibly not as large as those found in the average home is, we feel, adequate for this type of holiday accommodation and suitable for the majority of guests. The steps are highlighted in the property description on the website where we encourage people to take care when using them. Further to your recommendation, we have now marked these out a little more clearly and appreciate this suggestion. We are so pleased you had such an amazing time here and look forward to welcoming you back should you decide to visit again in the future. Property Owner
