    “This is the best lodge we have stayed at for the view and location the decking area was great plentyof room, everything we needed was available, you can go on many walks straight from Limefitt Park which is in a stunning with location with children play area and dog walking field had an Amazing Time :-) What did you enjoy most about your stay?”

Welcome to Comraich, a spacious two bedroom lodge by the river Comraich is a beautifully presented lodge at Limefitt Park in the picturesque Troutbeck Valley. With its unique 'L-shape' design, Comraich offers guests a spacious lounge, dining and kitchen area. The lodge enjoys a sought after position on the riverbank with views towards the fells and beyond. There is a delightful outside deck from which you can simply relax and listen to the sound of the beck below. Comraich which means 'sanctuary' or 'haven' is named after a Comraich, the old Gaelic name for Applecross in the Scottish Highlands. It is a resting place for travellers crossing from Ireland since the 7th Century. With its riverside location and wonderful views, Comraich Lodge is an ideal holiday retreat. The lodge welcomes 2 dogs. Ambleside 5 miles; Kendal 8.7 miles.

The twin towns of Bowness and Windermere are both vibrant, fun-filled places set within the splendid scenery of the Lake District. Both towns provide a range of amenities, shops and restaurants to suit all tastes whilst Ambleside offers the additional attraction of a boat ride to Bowness, the Lakeside Aquarium and Beatrix Potter's 'Hill Top House' at Sawrey. Grizedale Forest Park is within easy driving distance and is home to a range of activities including many good walks, mountain biking and the 'Go Ape' adventure park. The region also boasts many National Trust properties as well as a variety of water sports for those who prefer a more adrenaline-fuelled trip. Children will enjoy a trip to the 'World of Beatrix Potter' in Bowness whilst the villages of Grasmere, Coniston Water, Kendal, Keswick and the Lakeland Mountains are all within easy reach.

Comraich is accessed by 4 wooden steps. The lodge is then all on the same ground floor level.

A travel cot will fit in the twin bedroom only (tight fit between beds). Please bring your own travel cot and highchair as they are not provided.

Subject to Limefitt Park Holiday Park rules:
Commercial vehicles, caravans or camper vans cannot be parked on the site.
Hen or stag parties are not permitted.
Dogs must not be left alone in the lodges at any point during your stay.
