    When we arrived there was a note to say the WiFi was unavailable. This was not ideal as two of the guests are self employed so required WiFi access to be able to do their job. ...

    When we arrived there was a note to say the WiFi was unavailable. This was not ideal as two of the guests are self employed so required WiFi access to be able to do their job. Also, the cleanliness of the lodge was questionable. It claims to be Covid safe but the amount of cobwebs and random bits of rubbish in the ensuite and behind the furniture puts this into doubt. I used the washing machine on the Thursday but my washing came out dirtier than when it went in, as it was covered in dog hair. Yes, the lodge is dog friendly but I shouldn't expect my clothes to be covered in dog fur. I was not impressed.

Welcome to Lingmoor Lodge , a three bedroom holiday lodge with hot tub Lingmoor Lodge is a modern, spacious 3 bed lodge located in the Keswick Court area of White Cross Bay. It enjoys a quiet, end of cul-de-sac location. Outside there is a large spacious deck with a a hot tub. Lingmoor is ideal for families or couples and will sleep up to 6 guests (4 adults and 2 children) plus an infant in a travel cot. The lodge welcomes 2 dogs. Accommodation Details Living area: - There is a bright and spacious open plan lounge, kitchen and dining area - 2 fabric sofas plus chair - Wall mounted flat screen TV, DVD player - Dining area with full size dining table and 6 chairs Kitchen area: - The well equipped and appointed fitted kitchen includes a 5 ring gas hob, electric oven and grill, full sized tall fridge and freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, kettle and toaster, cutlery and crockery plus plenty of storage space Master bedroom: - King size bed and bedside drawers, wardrobe and chest of drawers - Wall mounted TV - En suite shower room with corner cubicle, body shower, toilet, hand basin and chrome towel rail Second bedroom: - Full size single beds and wardrobe Third bedroom: - Bunk beds (suitable for children only) - Wall mounted TV - Wardrobe Family bathroom: - The family size bathroom has a full size bath with over bath shower, folding shower screen, toilet, hand basin and chrome towel rail Other information: - Full central heating and double glazing ensuring a comfortable stay all year round. Laminate flooring throughout. - Outside large hot tub - Pine Tree is a sister 2 bed lodge next door sleeping up to 4 people

About the location

WINDERMERE

Ambleside 5 miles; Kendal 8.7 miles.

The twin towns of Bowness and Windermere are both vibrant, fun-filled places set within the splendid scenery of the Lake District. Both towns provide a range of amenities, shops and restaurants to suit all tastes whilst Ambleside offers the additional attraction of a boat ride to Bowness, the Lakeside Aquarium and Beatrix Potter's 'Hill Top House' at Sawrey. Grizedale Forest Park is within easy driving distance and is home to a range of activities including many good walks, mountain biking and the 'Go Ape' adventure park. The region also boasts many National Trust properties as well as a variety of water sports for those who prefer a more adrenaline-fuelled trip. Children will enjoy a trip to the 'World of Beatrix Potter' in Bowness whilst the villages of Grasmere, Coniston Water, Kendal, Keswick and the Lakeland Mountains are all within easy reach.

Lingmoor is accessed by 5 steps. The lodge is then all on the same ground floor level.

A travel cot will fit in the bunk bedroom. Please bring your own as a travel cot and highchair are not provided.

White Cross Bay has its own onsite facilities. You will need to purchase a complex pass from reception which includes the use of the pool, gym, entertainment and access to bar and restaurant. The prices are subject to change by park management.

Subject to White Cross Bay Holiday Park rules:
Commercial vehicles, caravans or camper vans cannot be parked on the site.
Hen or stag parties are not permitted.
Dogs must not be left alone in the lodges at any point during your stay.
