    “The lodge is extremely cosy and made us feel at home.”

    Lots of extra things provided I.e. teabags and dishwasher tablets etc which we did not expect. It was really easy to find and everything inside the resort is well sign posted. Only downfall is that it did not say anywhere that there is a 10:30

Only downfall is that it did not say anywhere that there is a 10:30 Curfew on the hot tub, this is a bit early and not ideal when the earliest you can check in is 4pm. Not sure what the difference is when you could be sitting out on the patio beside the hot tub to whatever time. Other than this the stay was great.

Unfortunately the hot tub curfew of 10pm is a rule implemented by White Cross Bay and covers all the hot tubs across the site and we have no control over this whatsoever. Welcome to Thirlmere View , a three bedroom holiday lodge with hot tub Thirlmere View is a modern, comfortable 3 bed lodge located in the Thirlmere area of White Cross Bay. Close to the lake it has a spacious outside deck and hot tub. Small rooftop balcony with views across the lake towards the distant fells. Thirlmere View is ideal for families or couples and will sleep up to 6 guests plus an infant in a travel cot. Sorry we are unable to accept pets at Thirlmere View Accommodation Details Living and dining area: - There is a bright and spacious open plan lounge and dining area - Fabric 3 seater sofa plus 2 armchairs - Wall mounted flat screen TV, DVD player and Freesat box - Dining area with full size dining table and 6 chairs Kitchen area: - The well equipped and appointed fitted kitchen includes a 5 ring gas hob, electric oven/grill, full sized tall fridge and freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, kettle and toaster, cutlery and crockery plus plenty of storage space Utility room and hallway leading to bedrooms to the rear of the lodge. Master bedroom: - Double bed, bedside drawers and double wardrobe - Wall mounted TV - Door access to side of lodge - En suite shower room with shower cubicle and themostatic shower. Vanity unit, toilet and basin. Second bedroom: - Full size single beds, bedside drawers and wardrobe Third bedroom: - Full size single beds, bedside drawers and wardrobe Family bathroom: - The family size bathroom has a full size bath with over bath thermostatic shower, toilet, hand basin Other information: - Full central heating and double glazing ensuring a comfortable stay all year round. - Outside large hot tub

Ambleside 5 miles; Kendal 8.7 miles.

The twin towns of Bowness and Windermere are both vibrant, fun-filled places set within the splendid scenery of the Lake District. Both towns provide a range of amenities, shops and restaurants to suit all tastes whilst Ambleside offers the additional attraction of a boat ride to Bowness, the Lakeside Aquarium and Beatrix Potter's 'Hill Top House' at Sawrey. Grizedale Forest Park is within easy driving distance and is home to a range of activities including many good walks, mountain biking and the 'Go Ape' adventure park. The region also boasts many National Trust properties as well as a variety of water sports for those who prefer a more adrenaline-fuelled trip. Children will enjoy a trip to the 'World of Beatrix Potter' in Bowness whilst the villages of Grasmere, Coniston Water, Kendal, Keswick and the Lakeland Mountains are all within easy reach.

Thirlmere View Lodge is accessed by 5 steps. The lodge is then all on the same ground floor level. Narrow spiral staircase to the roof deck.

A travel cot will fit in the twin bedroom and at the bottom of the bed in the master bedroom.

White Cross Bay has its own onsite facilities. You will need to purchase a complex pass from reception which includes the use of the pool, gym, entertainment and access to bar and restaurant. The prices are subject to change by park management.

Subject to White Cross Bay Holiday Park rules:
Commercial vehicles, caravans or camper vans cannot be parked on the site.
Hen or stag parties are not permitted.

There is a Good Housekeeping Bond of £200 for this property.
