“Positives are - great location for walks, very comfortable beds throughout, clean, great big hot tub, comfortable sitting area, excellent shower in main bathroom, large decking with plenty outside seating, large Astro turfed area which is great for kids and dogs, smart tv with plenty channels, good size fridge freezer.”
Negatives - smell of damp and dogs throughout, outside fence still broken although previously told it was fixed by Sykes, not a lot of kitchen work space, gas oven only worked intermittently and small kids’ bedroom door needs fixed as needs to be fully closed to open wardrobe and doors, but was too stiff to close easily.
A negative that wasn’t the fault of the lodge owner is that we unfortunately had 2 power cuts and the out of hours number voicemail wasn’t picked up until the morning after. We had to ask the holiday park to help. Sykes were helpful once they did call and done everything possible to rectify the situation, but we were subsequently left without electricity for 9 hours.
